(Health) Males With Big Differences in Finger Lengths Get Knee Injuries More Easily
美國一項研究指出，食指與無名指長度相差越大的男人，膝蓋受傷的機率越高。
A US research points out that the more the differences between the lengths of men's index finger and ring finger, the higher their chances of getting knee injuries.
一般來說，男人的食指較無名指短，而女人這兩根手指的長度則較為平均。
Generally speaking, males have shorter index fingers than ring fingers, and women usually have more equal lengths.
食指與無名指長度相差最大的男人與相差最小的男人相比，前者膝蓋受傷的機率多出78%。
Comparing men with big differences in index finger and ring finger lengths and those with less differences, the former have a 78% higher chance of getting knee injuries.
然而，食指與無名指的長度差距對女人完全不會造成任何影響。
However, the differences between the lengths of the index and ring finger have no affect on women.
研究人員表示，目前尚未找出造成手指長度與膝蓋容易受傷的關聯，但可以確定的是這與人在胚胎時期受到子宮內睪固酮(testosterone)的影響有很大的關係。
Researchers say that they still have not found the connection finger lengths have to knee injuries, but they are sure that they have a significant relationship with the amount of testosterone the fetus is exposed to in the uterus.
